The SSC keeps our teams connected in a unique way – with weekly virtual social events for our offices globally. If you’re looking for a way to keep your teams engaged and entertained in this new remote work landscape, Sport & Social Club’s virtual events are your answer! Here’s a sample of what our leaders are saying:

    – Jim Hreljac | Senior Vice President, Administration, Secret Location and Distribution

“Would like to do the trivia again … and run it in some of my weekly catch-ups with the finance department to help our own team bonding”

  • I want to thank SSG for helping Creamkeep playing during these strange COVID times. We’ve worked hard to develop a community for our employees and when we sent everyone home we were worried that hard-earned camaraderie would vanish or at the very least go silent. Connecting with each other on zooms just simply wasn’t the same and we needed to find a way to raise spirits. SSG to the rescue!  SSG‘s enthusiastic approach to team sports and player engagement translated perfectly into our online trivia games and bingo!  It was great to see our staff pull themselves away from their desks to come together to laugh, compete, and blow off some steam. I want to thank SSG and their staff for providing that fun in the midst of these challenging times. It has been a priceless addition to our week!

    Kate Harrison, President, Cream Productions

  • We surprised our team in our “weekly wind down” session with an hour of trivia, and it could not have been better! The questions were challenging but not so challenging that they weren’t fun, the speed was great, and the team’s banter was priceless. So much trash talking! Sport & Social Club really delivered – from the initial conversation to learn about our culture and brainstorm ideas, to adding our logo to the trivia pages, to managing our antics, it was well-worth the investment. The team was begging for more at the end and we can’t wait to make this a regular event for us!

    Shannon Landwehr, Glassman Wealth

  • We had Toronto Sport and Social run an online trivia tournament for our firm. It was a great way to stay in touch with everyone while we’re all working from home. TSS was great to work with. They ran the whole event for us, the hosts were entertaining and engaging, and it was the perfect activity for some fun with colleagues!

Jen Spencer, Marketing Coordinator, Segal LLP

  • Right from the start, we were very impressed with the professionalism of all the people that we dealt with. It was a pleasure working with Mark and Kent on the organizing front. Their ideas and the ability to adapt to the needs of 180 students and 20 staff were first-rate.

When it came to the day of our event I am happy to report that it went off without a hitch or hiccup. I can tell you that the feedback from the students and from my fellow teachers was 100% positive. Everyone had fun, had lots of opportunities to be engaged, and had many opportunities to laugh.

    Gord Wotherspoon, Crescent School

  • We engaged the Sport and Social Club to run our first virtual team trivia event. Holly and Lash were fabulous hosts and kept everyone engaged throughout the event. We received such overwhelmingly positive feedback from our staff that we’ve scheduled two more virtual team-building events this summer.  Thanks for an awesome experience!

  • Sport and Social Club hosted a great online team building activity.  The people were so engaging and the scavenger hunt was loads of fun.  As we transition to virtual work, connection and engagement is even more important.  Sport and Social Club delivered a great experience, the moderators established a strong connection with everyone participating enjoyed so much.

    Angela Gaspar, Discovery Reports Group

  • The virtual Scavenger Hunt was such a success! A very creative opportunity for a team-building activity. We loved the game because it was entertaining, interactive, and full of energized competition. We were impressed with the level of organization and the system developed to run the event smoothly. We would say a virtual Scavenger Hunt stands its own ground vs a regular one: similar idea, slightly different rules. Highly recommended to try this event with friends, family, and/or colleagues!

    Gaya Ast, Clear Concepts

  • We have had SSG host remote trivia, as well as our company summer picnic and both, were a blast!  So much fun we decided to give these events as gifts to our clients.  We typically send thoughtful gifts to clients but it usually ends up being “stuff”.  These virtual events I think will be greatly appreciated (and needed).

  • The Toronto Sport and Social Club provided a number of virtual options to provide my leadership team with a well-deserved break.  We decided on the escape room challenge by breaking up into smaller teams and competing to see who could escape first, for a little more added fun.  We were familiar with in-person escape rooms and were a little skeptical at first as to how this would translate in a virtual setting; but the facilitators, O’Shea and Jordan were fantastic, the virtual escape room was fun yet challenging.  In the virtual world, we now operate in, team building and developing camaraderie is tougher, but TSSC provided us with a fantastic solution.  From start to finish the TSSC delivered an overall professional experience.

  • Summer 2020 – our team’s first-ever Summer Virtual Event was a success!

We usually host our employees in person a number of times throughout the year and 2020 added a new twist as we transitioned to virtual work in many departments.

SSC hosted our team in Virtual Musical Bingo. And it was amazing! Employees were so engaged, singing, dancing and connecting virtually. Our hosts were fantastic and kept us energized and excited about each song and round.

We are scheduling a Fall event after such positive feedback and response from employees.

Thank you, SSC for coming through with a fantastic experience.

    Christina Sorbara, VP, Corporate Knowledge

  • It was a pleasure to work with the Toronto Sport & Social Club during our community-building event, which was dedicated to staff service awards.

TSSC management was highly cooperative and responsive to all our requests during the planning stage, while activity Hosts created a fun and engaging atmosphere for our guests to enjoy the games of Trivia, Musical Bingo, and Scavenger Hunt.

  • Our organization has been trying to find ways to maintain the great culture we’ve built while everyone is working virtually.  We’re very glad to have found the Sport & Social Group.  Their team hosted a virtual escape room game that was both challenging and fun.  Mike and the team were awesome and truly gave us an experience that our organization loved.  It was easy to organize and perfectly executed.  Our team at General Mills was extremely engaged and the feedback was incredible! I would happily recommend them to any company looking to generate some true connection and excitement for their team.
